Who we are and what we do
St. David’s Rehabilitation is a network of hospital-based inpatient physical medicine and outpatient facilities in Central Texas. We specialize in the treatment of complex neurological conditions like Guillain Barré, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease, stroke and traumatic brain injury, as well as the familiar, such as arthritis, chronic pain and joint replacement. Specialized services like neuromuscular retraining, McKenzie therapy, Parkinson’s STEP program and Adaptive Driving Program can help preserve or regain your quality of life.

Does the facility specialize in rehabilitation care?      
Everything from the physicians, to your daily schedule, to available technology, to staff certifications adds to a therapeutic environment. For example, the nurses are certified rehabilitation nurses (CRRN) - help support your medical care, nutrition, bowel and bladder function, skin care and sleeping habits, as well as your psychological and emotional health.
Is the facility attached to a major medical center?    
The strongest inpatient rehabilitation programs have immediate access to emergency and medical care. They should be attached to an acute care hospital - literally steps away – with access expert consulting physicians from all specialties available when necessary.

Is the program team experienced in treating my condition?

Does the Program offer a full Continuum of Care for my condition?

Are the nurses qualified to care for my needs in rehabilitation?

How much therapy will I receive?
