Anissa Godinez, MD, is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She received her medical degree from Autonoma University of Guadalajara, and completed an internship in Internal Medicine at New Rochelle Hospital in New York, followed by a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.

Since 2000, Dr. Godinez has served as Medical Director of the Rehabilitation Unit at St. David’s Georgetown Hospital while maintaining a private practice. Prior to moving to Central Texas, Dr. Godinez held medical leadership positions in El Paso and Corpus Christi. In El Paso, she was Medical Director of the Chronic Pain Program at the Dynamic Evaluation Center and Medical Director of the Spinal Cord Injury Program at Rio Vista Rehabilitation Hospital. In Corpus Christi, Dr. Godinez served as Medical Director for the Warm Springs Rehabilitation Hospital.

Dr. Godinez has extensive experience in chronic pain, work hardening, pulmonary rehabilitation, EMG/NCV testing, disability evaluations, and pain management. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of San Francisco in California.
