Visha Kancherla, DO

Dr. Kancherla

Vishal Kancherla, DO, is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation as well as American Board of Pain Medicine. He completed medical training at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas, followed by an internship at Saint Clare’s Hospital and Health Center in New York and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Kancherla pursued additional study through fellowship training in Pain Management and Musculoskeletal Medicine at Florida Spine Institute in Clearwater, Florida.

Dr. Kancherla is the recipient of numerous academic honors and awards, and is a noted researcher who has conducted pain management and nerve conduction studies. His works have been published in the medical literature, including the Journal of the Spinal Research Foundation, and he has made presentations at numerous medical conferences and seminars. A native of Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Kancherla received a Bachelor of Science, cum laude, in Biology and Chemistry from Houston Baptist University.
